The short story, written by Julien, recounts the events that inspired this concept release, and is only available in the physical editions. For Farewell Of Nostalgia was mastered by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering in January 2020 and the cover artwork was illustrated by Michael Koelsch at Koelsch Studios in April 2020. Julien also decided to re-record the release entirely from scratch, over the span of two months between October and November 2019.

The EP was first recorded over seven months from April to October 2018, but Julien wasn't satisfied with the original recordings, so he put it aside for a year before deciding to re-record it entirely. That decision has paid off, as For Farewell Of Nostalgia is now finally out and ready for listeners to experience.
